When choosing powder, liquid or granular sulfur, first clarify your intended use, then the product's label information and the quantity you need. A shared product name does not mean that different forms are suitable for the same application. This guide provides a checklist for comparing products and preparing a complete request for technical information or a price quotation.

Where should you start?

The first question is what you intend to use sulfur for. For an agricultural requirement, review the current scope of powder, granular and liquid products. If you are researching a rubber or another industrial process, do not treat an agricultural product as a direct equivalent. Consider the industrial options described on our Oil-Treated Micronized Sulfur Powder and ACY Extra Micronized Sulfur pages.

Agricultural product selection and application planning require the current label and expert assessment. For a soil-related objective, have your existing analysis report ready. The comparison on this page does not provide application rates or crop-specific treatment instructions.

What should you compare across powder, liquid and granular products?

Compare the intended use, technical scope, quantity unit and packaging. The table below summarises the information you can include in a request for each form.

Product to review Include in your technical enquiry Clarify before purchasing
Elemental Micronized Sulfur Powder Intended use, the application method being considered and any available analysis information Your request for 25 kg packaging, total kilograms or number of bags, and the current product label
Liquid Sulfur Intended application, planned method and any other products being considered for use alongside it 20 L packaging information, total litres or number of containers, composition and scope of use
Granular Sulfur Intended use, application equipment and the technical information required Quantity in kilograms or tonnes, packaging options, composition and delivery terms

The packaging information in the table helps you describe your requirements; current packaging and order terms are confirmed during the quotation process. Do not treat the litre quantity of a liquid product as equivalent to the kilogram quantity of a solid product. A direct application equivalence between products cannot be established without reviewing formulation and composition.

What should you request in labels and technical documents?

State the full name of the product you are interested in and ask for its current label or technical data sheet. Check that the composition, physical form, packaging and application scope relevant to your intended use all refer to the same product. Do not assume that information on one document or package also applies to another product.

For safe handling, storage and use, check the safety information for the relevant product. To understand what each document covers, see our guide to reading TDS, SDS and certification documents. The granular sulfur guide provides more detail about granular forms, while the micronized sulfur and mesh guide explains how to compare particle fineness.

Six details for a price quotation

Prepare your request with the product, intended use, quantity, packaging, delivery location and required date.

  1. Product or form: State the product name. If you have not decided, mention which forms you are considering.
  2. Intended use: Briefly describe the agricultural or industrial application and your requirements. Say if the application method is not yet decided.
  3. Quantity and unit: Clearly state kilograms, tonnes, litres or the number of packages. An approximate requirement can also help with an initial assessment.
  4. Packaging: Include any specific packaging preference, or say that you would like to discuss suitable options.
  5. Delivery location: State the delivery province and district in Turkey. Clarify the necessary logistics details during the quotation discussion.
  6. Requirement date and documents: Share your planned date and the technical documents you need. Confirm delivery arrangements during the quotation discussion.

A request template you can copy and complete

Product or form of interest: …
Intended use: …
Required quantity and unit: …
Packaging preference: …
Delivery province / district: …
Planned requirement date: …
Technical information or documents requested: …

If the quantity or product choice is not yet clear, you can write “I would like technical information” in those fields. This helps identify which details are still needed during the first discussion.

Compare quotations on the same basis

Placing unit prices side by side is not enough. Product name and technical scope, quantity unit, packaging, delivery location and quotation date should be assessed within the same framework. Ask separately whether freight and taxes are included, how long the price is valid and what payment terms apply.

For a current quotation on a specific product, start from that product's page. To assess several forms together or seek help describing your requirements, explore Köseoğlu sulfur products or request technical information and a price quotation.
